My oldest daughter requested a unicorn theme for her 6th birthday party this year. I’ve posted some of the pieces of the party already, but wanted to try to put everything together in one spot.
The main activity was decorating unicorn hobby horses. See our tutorial with DIY instructions. This one was a little involved in terms of prep, but it was a hit with the kids, so I’m glad we went for it. I loved seeing their creativity!
We also had a unicorn ring toss and pin the horn on the unicorn game. The inflatable unicorn was an online purchase and we printed the unicorn head and had our daughter decorate it before the party.
We put party favors in our pull-apart cloud, which was the pinata-alternative that we came up with for this party.
Our meal wasn’t really specific to the theme. I like to go with recipes that are easy to prep-ahead for gatherings whether they fit the theme or not. We did have rainbow swirl cupcakes, though.
This was a fun one to put together and my daughter and her friends seemed to enjoy themselves too. Happy unicorn birthday! ❤
